How do you ship caviar?
Across the U.S. we ship only by FedEx Overnight, in an insulated box with gel packs so the caviar stays cold all the way to your door. Shipping is $50 and free on orders of $300 or more.
Do you deliver in Miami the same day?
Yes. In Miami we deliver the same day, free of charge, in an insulated box. See Miami delivery for the areas we cover.
Do you have a store I can visit?
No. King ROE is online only — order on the website or message us on WhatsApp.
On arrival & storage
What should I do when the order arrives?
Open the box and put the caviar in the refrigerator right away — ideally the coldest part, at 28–34 °F (−2…+1 °C). Do not freeze it: freezing damages the texture of the pearls. Check your order, and if anything is wrong, contact us within 24 hours.
How long does caviar keep?
Unopened, keep the tin in the coldest part of the refrigerator and follow the date on the label. Once opened, caviar is best eaten within 1–2 days — keep the lid on and the tin cold in between.
Serving
How do I serve caviar?
Serve it chilled, straight from the tin. Use a mother-of-pearl, bone or wooden spoon — metal spoons can add a metallic taste. Classic pairings: warm blini with crème fraîche, or simply on good potato chips.
What is the difference between Kaluga, Osetra and Beluga Hybrid?
Kaluga Imperial (Kaluga hybrid) has large, firm pearls with a smooth, creamy, buttery taste. Osetra Classic (Russian sturgeon species) is nutty and lightly toasted with subtle fruity notes. Royal Beluga Hybrid has large, soft gray pearls with a delicate, creamy taste — it comes in small lots. Wild Alaskan Salmon Roe is red caviar with big, bright pearls that pop.
